founded in Helsinki
Kaiko is a Helsinki-based fashion brand for women who refuse to choose between style, quality and values. We design bold prints and carefully crafted pieces made to last for years, and every purchase supports women in Nepal.
Mirjam Sokka founded Kaiko with a student loan in 2016, moved by the Rana Plaza factory collapse. The idea was simple: clothes should be made without harming anyone. Mirjam still leads Kaiko as CEO.

7% of the profit on every product sold goes to education and employment for women in Nepal. Our jewellery also employs over 40 women in Nepal.
Not another beige brand. We design our own statement prints and pair them with timeless, carefully finished cuts that bring confidence to every day.
We choose materials for how they hold up to wear: organic cotton, ECOVERO™ viscose and RMS-certified mohair. Every product page shows the garment’s cost per wear.
Kaiko is founded, led and run by women, from our team in Helsinki to the jewellery workshop in Nepal.
We name our factories and choose long-term partnerships over the lowest price. Our clothes are mainly made in Europe, and our jewellery in Nepal.
